Diving prodigy Daley and the princess-to-be
"Diver Tom Daley's popularity with the girls appears to extend to Monaco's royal family. Pauline Ducruet, daughter of Princess Stιphanie of Monaco and former bodyguard Daniel Ducruet, and eighth in line of succession, is rumoured to have a crush on the teenager from Plymouth.
In fact, the princess-to-be was there to watch Daley perform in the 10m platform final at the world junior diving championships in Aachen, Germany, on Friday. The pair are the same age, 14, and as he faltered on his last dive, fellow competitor Ducruet gasped and clutched her face. Daley went on to win silver, missing out on the gold medal by just two points.
Asked about the princess-to-be, he blushed." [

Daley out to make big spash by ruling the world juniors
"Tom Daley could be forgiven for eyeing swimmers such as Rebecca Adlington enviously. The double Olympic champion has just returned from a Mediterranean cruise and will not put a foot in the water, in earnest, until later this month. Daley, whose profile in Beijing matched Adlington's despite a best finish of seventh, had no such respite, taking only two days off after the Olympics before starting his preparation for the world junior championships which begin in Aachen today.
Daley is entered in the springboard and the platform, in the B category, which is for divers aged 14 and 15, and bizarrely it will be his first opportunity to win an international junior title because, before this summer, he was too young to be eligible. As the senior European champion, he will start as favourite for the platform on Friday but his coach, Andy Banks, feels the 14-year-old could find the competition more testing than the Olympics.
"I think he has as much if not more pressure here than in Beijing," he said. "At the Games, he always had an out. He could say, 'Hey, I'm just 14', and they would tickle him under the chin and say well done. Here, though, he's in his own age group and people are saying, 'Hey, he could do quite well here'. But there are two Chinese and some very good divers here and he won't find it easy." [

Great time for Tom and Tonia
"Divers Tom Daley and Tonia Couch will have one less excuse for missing the 2012 Olympics in London, after a Plymouth jewellers presented them with highly-accurate sports watches.
Drakes Fine Jewellers gave the athletes engraved watches to mark their success in Beijing. John Hirshman, the managing director, said: "We send our warmest congratulations to Tonia and Tom. They have shown a fine example of professionalism and dedication in their sport, which they and the city of Plymouth can be truly proud of."
Tonia said: "I'm over the moon to be given this watch and really proud to have people recognise the efforts we put in. It's fantastic to know that people are behind us."
Tom said: "It's good to be back home again and I'm so excited and looking forward to the 2012 Olympics.
"It's brilliant to know that Plymouth is supporting me, and I'm really touched by Drakes Fine Jewellers to have given me a watch; everyone here has been so kind."
Both watches are water-resistant to 100 metres. Tom's is a Seiko Sportura 100m rose gold-plated sports chronograph . Tonia's is a Seiko Coutura 100m mother-of-pearl and stainless steel sports chronograph." [

After Olympic dream, Tom Daley is back in the classroom
"Olympic star Tom Daley is diving into his school books after his first day back in class in the wake of the Beijing Olympics.
Tom, 14, joined classmates in Year 10 at Eggbuckland Community College in Plymouth where he is starting his studies for his GCSEs.
But Tom is still no ordinary student he left lessons at 1pm to attend the launch of the Tiger Woods 09 computer game in London. And this morning he was taking part in an Olympic breakfast with gold medal rower James Cracknell and BBC presenter John Inverdale.
Then he was joining Radio 1 presenters Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw for the BBC Switch show.
The teenager was watched by millions on television as he clinched seventh in the men's 10-metre platform diving and eighth in the men's synchro final with Blake Aldridge.
But staff at the school said they tried to keep his two lives separate though Tom's achievement was mentioned and applauded by classmates during the Year 10 assembly.
Tom said: "It was really good; it was good to see all my friends and say 'hello'." [

Site Plug
Hey everyone. I just wanted to stop in real quick and let you all know that I've opened a new site for the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers, Nick Jonas. The site is Nick Jonas Fans and is still not fully open yet, it's definitely coming along, though. Anyway, if you all could pay it a visit I would really appreciate it! Thanks guys! :)

Also, just wanted to say that this was one of the things on my to do list so getting it up is definitely me getting one step closer to being able to get back here and work on the site like I'd like to. Health-wise I'm still not feeling 100%, I am slowly getting there, though, I think. I have a few more things I still need to get finished up before I can get back here but hopefully everything will keep going quickly and smoothly like it has been because I really miss this place and I wanna get back to updating here as well! So yeah, I'll be sure to let you guys know how everything is going and I'll see you all again soon! :)
The Deal...
Ok well first, I'm sure everyone has had a chance to see how Tom did in the Individual finals so I'll say that he finished an amazing 7th!! He did absolutely amazing on his dives and should be extremely proud of himself! :)
Second, I'm not sure what's going on with me health-wise. I mean I thought I was feeling better but the past couple of days I've felt really lousy again. So with saying that, I think I'm going to take a break for a little bit, a week or two tops hopefully. I'll still be on the message board and everything and I'll try and post some of the news articles and stuff there when I see them, but as for regular updates on the site, that'll be a little before they get back to normal. So I want to apologize for having to do this, with my current situation, though, being really busy with a lot of things online and offline plus just not feeling to well, I feel it's probably better if I just take off for a little bit and try and get everything under control. Anyway, I'll be back as soon as I'm feeling better so see you guys then. ;)
Preliminaries and Semis videos
Here are some videos I was able to capture of Tom during the 10m Individual Preliminaries and Semifinals. There is only one of his dives from the prelims and two from the semis since, unfortunately, that's all that was shown over here in the US. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the vids! :)
